my aunte and cousin both sent some goodies my way this week. vintage fabrics, buttons, patterns, old aprons, the list does go on, so I’ll spare you. but I was able to use some of the loveliness that was given to me.I was also able to stretch a half yard of [...] I think Holly Golightly would have loved to have my newest creation on, while eating her croissant. no crumbs on the fingers of her lovely gloves! I was struck giddy, I [...] it’s certainly chillier out there these days but not quite to the point where I don’t feel like I look ridiculous wearing my winter gloves. last fall, I wore my vintage car coat that has 3/4 length sleeves and when I did wear gloves with it, I still had a patch on my wrists that [...] I finally got around to crocheting something for myself. I keep seeing pics of gauntlets and think to myself, “those would be great with all my quarter length sleeve coats.”I wanted them in black, but found some charcoal tweed that just cried out to me, “buy me, buy me, oh please , take me home.” [...] |
